Our volunteers greet visitors, deliver flowers to patient rooms, work in the gift shop, transport patients, sort and deliver hospital mail, help with events, and support hospital programs. Most importantly they bring good cheer and warmth to our patients and our staff.

The ESOL Support Program includes tutoring and classroom aide opportunities.

The Community Drives Program offers community members the opportunity to support our work remotely by participating and/or organizing Welcome Kit collections and seasonal drives in support of IINE’s students, clients, and programs.

The Employment Support Program includes weekly Workforce Orientation Workshop and quarterly Mock Interview Day events, and Mock Interview Prep sessions for one-to-one coaching prior to Mock Interview Day events.

Groups who take part in special projects do so under the guidance of the volunteer and program managers. Projects target specific, identified needs by site.

Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, the flagship long-term care hospital (LTCH) of Hebrew SeniorLife, offers programs that meet seniors’ medical needs across the continuum of care. Volunteers assist our staff with treating the medical needs of seniors while offering a wide range of therapeutic programs that maximize the patient’s function and help them strive for independence.

Engage with children ages 5-12, help with homework, assist in planning group activities. Some experience working with children ages 5-12 preferred; ability to lead activities preferred.

Take photographs of USES’s programs for use in marketing and advertising. Support program staff with data entry, filing, and light administrative work.
