Although our Food Pantry is open only two mornings each week, volunteers work behind the scenes throughout the week. Weekly volunteer opportunities are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. If one of your teens enjoys babysitting, you can volunteer to babysit together while our parents participate in workshops, meetings, or special events at the Day Center.

Like to cook? You can prepare a meal at home with your family or friends to deliver to a host congregation. If you’d like to meet our families, we invite volunteers to stay for dinner and share the evening with our guests and their children.

On the weekends, adult volunteers answer the phone, do activities with children, and are a welcoming presence for our guests. During the week, we often seek assistance in the office with mailings, covering the phones, or administrative projects. Teens are welcome with an adult over 18.
