A volunteer shift in The Giving Factory Warehouse involves hands-on processing of the donated goods that flow in on a regular basis. Each station in our warehouse includes inspecting, sorting, and packaging donations to ultimately be distributed to the children we serve.

From starting seeds in the greenhouse and planting seedlings in the spring, to tending, harvesting, and washing the crops all summer long and into the fall – our volunteers do it all! Groups who volunteer receive an educational, team-building experience while sorting and packing food for those in need. The Kids Who Care (KWC) program is a special volunteer opportunity that allows children as young as 10 years old to volunteer alongside family and friends, bagging and boxing food for children, seniors and families in need.
