The mission of Pathways for Children is to serve the best interests of infant through adolescent children and their families – whether disadvantaged by circumstance or in search of opportunity – by delivering the empowering gift of quality educational, social development and support services that strengthen the family unit and the community.
To assist in the operation of Maudslay State Park and to serve as liaison between the nearby communities and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
Essex County CASA is a program of Family Services of Merrimack Valley, and recruits, trains and supervises volunteers from the community to advcate for children in abuse/neglect cases in the Lawrence, Newburyport, Salem, and the Lynn Juvenile Courts.
The goal of the program is to develop the positive potential of young people by providing them with support, guidance and friendship.
