About this event
Did you know that Food Stamps cover the cost of candy, but not feminine hygiene products? Dignity Matters is a non-profit organization that collects, purchases and supplies feminine hygiene products, bras and underwear to women and girls who are homeless or disadvantaged, in order to help them stay healthy, regain self-confidence, and live with basic dignity. Since the start of the pandemic, the number of women that Dignity Matters is serving across Massachusetts has more than doubled.
I will be collecting the following items for this drive: -Pads and Tampons (the package can be open if each item is individually wrapped) -Incontinence supplies (for bladder leakage such as Poise and Depends) -New or “like new” bras (so they shouldn’t be very damaged or worn) -Underwear (brand new with tags or in a package)
Items may be dropped off between Saturday and Monday in the bin on the porch adjacent to my garage. If you are unable to shop and deliver in person, donations may be made via the Dignity Matters Amazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/ref=cm_reg_rd-upd?ie=UTF8&id=2A0BMFSCKYN4W&type=wishlist
