About this event

One Warm Coat is a nationwide organization that collects gently used, clean coats for those who are in need. They accept coats, gloves, scarves, hats for all ages from infants to adults. They also accept all types of coats from rain jackets, to lightweight coats, to dress coats, and warm winter coats. < < We invite you to clean out your closet, wash any coats or winter wear that you do not need, and donate them to One Warm Coat. Other collection ideas include visiting a thrift store and purchasing additional gently used items. You may also consider reaching out to friends, family, or neighbors and asking them to wash and drop off gently used items to your house. Posting your collection to Facebook or Nextdoor is a great way to collect items from those living near you. < < One Warm Coat invites you to leave a note of encouragement in the pocket of each coat you donate. That note will remain inside the pocket and will be given to the recipient of your coat! < < There are 3 drop off locations in the greater Boston area. You may drop items off at either: Elements Massage Medford- 40 High Street, Medford, MA 02155 < < Eddie Bauer Burlington Mall- 75 Middlesex Turnpike Space 1068B, Burlington, MA 01803 < < Eddie Bauer Market Street at Lynnfield-1145 Market Street, Lynnfield, MA 01940 < < Eddie Bauer is offering a coupon for anyone who brings items in to donate.
