Catching Joy Operation Sock Drop and Heart Card Project

Maxwell Surprenant, teen activist and co-founder of Catching Joy, Inc. (catchingjoy.org), a nonprofit which promotes volunteerism and acts of kindness beginning with kids, teens, and families, calls for more empathy, inclusion, creativity, kindness, love, hope, and peace. He has launched Operation Sock Drop with a goal of collecting 2021 new socks (adult and kid sizes) for people in need- local drop off at The Big Bear Cafe, 3 Eastern Ave., Dedham, MA and The Blue Bunny Bookstore, 577 High Street, Dedham, MA- stay tuned for other drop off sites. In addition, he’s inviting kids, teens, and adults to decorate paper hearts with positive messages to go along with the donations.
