THE MOSTLY VIRTUAL 2021 Cambridge MLK WEEK OF SERVICE & LEARNING
JOIN TOGETHER FOR HANDS-ON SERVICE AND A WEEK OF RACIAL AND SOCIAL JUSTICE CONVERSATIONS
Honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and work by joining with others to serve those in need in our community and to learn how you can help create an equitable community that brings us closer to racial justice and equality.
The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the inequality and injustice in our society. But we can still lend our helping hands. Rather than see COVID-19 as a limitation, we are choosing to embrace the virtual format and turn MLK Day into a week of giving, learning and activism beginning on MLK Day, Monday January 18.
Each day will have a different panel, led by members of the community, looking at King as a radical, a teacher, a housing advocate, a moral leader and more.
The need to join together now has only become more urgent with the events of this week.
So please – Join together with others in our community virtually for hands-on service on MLK Day and a Week of Racial and Social Justice Conversations focused on Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr.’s work, legacy and continuing power to challenge and inspire us.
Details about the hands on service projects and racial and social justice conversations are described on the Many Helpings Hands 365 website and when you register for the 2021 MLK Day and Week of Service.
