About this event
Volunteers will join together over zoom to make Valentine’s Day Cards for seniors. The Boston Age Strong Commission’s Card Project serves over 10,000 senior residents of Boston around the holidays. Currently, due to COVID-19 folks quarantining at home may be missing many of the social interactions they look forward to.
The older adults who will be receiving these cards are some of Boston’s most vulnerable residents and are receiving their cards with their Meals on Wheels or grocery deliveries from the City because they are not able to leave their homes due to their health.
These cards will go a long way to ensuring that these residents know that their city and neighbors care about them during this time.
