There is a need for tutoring, financial literacy instruction, mentoring, arts programming and other areas. Because we receive numerous requests to volunteers regularly we ask that you complete an application so that we can discover more about you an if your intentions are match.

How you help

The Worcester Youth Center has an ongoing need of volunteers who can offer a variety of services to our organizations and the youth members who attend daily. Worcester Youth Center benefits greatly from the generosity of the community, and its supporters find many ways to help us in our work.

About us

The Worcester Youth Center is an educational, recreational and social facility for youth between the ages of 14 and 24. We accomplish our mission by seeking resources, collaborations and opportunities that help young people to realize their full potential, sharpen skills and enable them to become vital, responsible and contributing members of society. The youth can choose to enroll in more than one activity and attend year round. Or, they can obtain discreet support either one time or periodically throughout the year. Activities are grouped into four programs: Academic Support, Creative Expression & Leadership, Health/Wellness, and Work Preparation. The Center has been and continues to be a “safe haven” for young people in Worcester.
