How you helpScouting provides a tremendous opportunity to assist young people as they develop in adults. This cannot be done with the help of adults like you who want to give back to the community. There are a number of ways that you can be involved in the Scouting program. For example, if you have prior experience, you might want to assist units by becoming a unit commissioner. Perhaps you have a particular talent that you'd like to share with the youth, that can be done on the unit level. Or maybe you would like to help with developing programs for youth in one of our districts.
About usThe Western Massachusetts Council serves the Scouts and Scouters in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire Counties of western Massachusetts. The Western Massachusetts Council is geographically the largest Boy Scout council in Massachusetts.
