Our mission Every time an audience comes together for a theatrical event, a community is formed. WAM Theatre engages that community by 1) producing theatrical events for everyone, with a focus on women theatre artists and/or stories of women and girls 2) donating a portion of proceeds from those theatrical events to organizations that work to benefit the lives of women and girls in our communities and worldwide.

Ways to help

Ushering

By greeting patrons and answering questions about WAM, our ushers are often the first introduction patrons get at their first WAM show and are tasked with being the conduit for the culture we cultivate here at WAM. You are welcome to sign up for one or two shows, helping pass out programs, scanning tickets, or assisting people to their seats.

Hospitality

Our hospitality team are the essential hosts during our productions! Being on this subcommittee will include asks to drive actors and production team members to and from our theatres to train or bus stations, offering housing during productions, and making meals for our volunteer led tech dinners.
