Our mission	To be there for our veterans and their families in their time of need with the ultimate goal to end homelessness among veterans.

Opportunities	Greeter Be the first one to greet our donors and volunteers at our headquarters site in Worcester. Help log in donations and pass along others ways in which the community can help Veterans Inc. Weekly, Monthly Teens, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays Tutor/Teach Have experience teaching a subject or activity? Tutoring individuals or teaching a class is an opportunity to change the outlook of another person. Conduct a class in health, wellness, nutrition, fitness, and more. Background and experience in the subject matter are required. Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site, Skilled Weekdays Office Support Help Veterans Inc. process seasonal donations, prepare bulk mailings, and manage other special projects. Weekly, Monthly Teens, Adults Individuals Office work On-site, Formal Weekdays Recreational Activities Spend a few hours sponsoring a recreational activity for our residents. Examples include movie nights, basketball or softball games, tennis, fishing, nature walks, and board game tournaments. Occasional, Monthly Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10), Groups (10+), Corporate Teams, Families Event support, Indoor, Outdoor None Weekdays, Weekends Food Services Help hand out food to our veterans and their families in Worcester County at our food pantry or help serve or sponsor a meal in our hot meals program. Our food pantry is open on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our hot meals program serves lunch and dinner 365 days a year. Occasional, Monthly Teens, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10), Families Indoor On-site Weekdays Facility & Maintenance Projects We always need people to help with repairs and maintenance of our grounds and facilities. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly Teens, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10) Physical, Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Events & Programs for our veterans Help by sponsoring events for the residents of our housing programs, including but not limited to seasonal/holiday parties, cookouts, as well as the annual Stand Down in June and our annual Holiday Harvest. Occasional Teens, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10), Groups (10+), Corporate Teams, Families Event support None Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Run a Donation Drive Collect items on our Wish List. Food, clothing, toiletry, and gift card drives in particular are very helpful. As a nonprofit organization, we simply could not provide the level of services that we do without your assistance. The countless hours of time and talent, in addition to monetary and in-kind support, ensure that Veterans Inc. can continue its mission to improve the lives of veterans and their families and, ultimately, save lives.

Veterans Inc.’s clinical case management approach addresses the “total veteran,” incorporating job training and employment services, health and wellness, and supportive services ranging from transportation to legal advice. When it comes to helping veterans, we don’t just work to address their immediate needs; we give them the tools to rebuild their lives, helping them to regain self-sufficiency and reconnect with their family, friends, and community.
