Our mission

To provide families within our community with consistent access to nutritious food in a dignified, sensitive, and inclusive environment.
Opportunities

Volunteer

We are now seeking new volunteers who are able to join us for at least one shift, once a month, for a minimum of three months. Most jobs include packing/lifting/moving bags or boxes that weight 15 pounds (or more) and walking.

How you help

People who generously give their time, effort and skills to our mission make a difference in the lives of hundreds of families every week. Together we put food in their cupboards and on their tables.
About us

The Centre Street Food Pantry opened its doors to residents of Newton and those living in neighboring cities to provide food to anyone in need. We are open every week on Tuesday 2:30 – 6PM and the first Saturday of each month 11:30AM- 2PM. We strive to serve our those who visit us with kindness and dignity.
