Weekly volunteer opportunities are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Please note that deliveries require lifting and carrying boxes that weigh roughly 20 lbs. Opportunities include : Pick up from local grocery stores and bring them to the church, pack food into boxes for delivery, deliver to families that cannot get to the pantry. |

About us | South Community Food Pantry began as an outgrowth of St. Joseph’s Kitchen in the 1990s — 12 emergency bags of groceries were available after the weekly meal. The need grew, and today it is the largest food pantry distribution in Berkshire County, serving over 1,000 families each week. |
