Our mission	Empowering people to achieve social and economic stability through services and education in partnership with the community.

Opportunities	English Language Volunteer Tutors Tutors give one-on-one instruction to students of NSCAP’s English for Speakers of Other Languages program (ESOL). Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Data Entry Volunteers NSCAP is seeking a volunteer to assist us with database entry. Basic computer literacy required, hours are flexible. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site, Formal Weekdays Pro Bono Attorney Volunteers and Law Student Volunteers Volunteers will be supervised by experienced attorneys. They will have the opportunity to directly represent clients, provide advice, make referrals, or conduct research. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays

How you help	Volunteers assist with daily operations, help empower students with necessary skills, and provide services so our neighbors can find the stability they need to rise out of poverty.

About us	NSCAP provides social services that enable low-income families and individuals to obtain the skills and knowledge they need to become economically self-sufficient, civically engaged, and to live in dignity and decency. NSCAP provides a range of programs and services in five key areas: Education and Training, Economic Stabilization, Housing and Homelessness Prevention, Energy Services, and Home Care. NSCAP is a vital member of the community; we recognize that when we assist our neighbors in need, we strengthen our neighborhoods, cities, and towns.
