Ways to help

Trail Steward Volunteer

Participate in a trail work-day or join a stewardship committee. This could be a Trail Monitor at one of our conservation areas or helping us plow the parking areas at conservation areas. Look for Trail Work Days advertised on our Facebook Page. Learn about Land Stewardship and consider volunteering to steward one of our Conservation Areas.

About us NCLT fulfills its land conservation mission by facilitating land conservation projects that benefit landowners and communities, by its stewardship of public access conservation land and by promoting conservation through environmental education programs and nature hikes. We offer guided nature hikes on our conservation areas in Fitchburg, Gardner, Hubbardston, Princeton and Templeton. We also offer environmental education programs to children and families, in partnership with local schools and community groups.
