How you help Volunteers are important for helping us accomplish our mission. Volunteers are needed during Center operating hours (Thursday-Sunday 10-4) and for occasional evening programs and special events.
About us In order to accomplish our mission we engage the public during our hours of operation through exhibits, interactions with fishermen and fishing families, and special events. We host school groups during the week, participate in community events, and host a variety of off site events and programming. The New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
