Senior Dining Assistant

Help out at your local hot lunch program where seniors gather for a nutritious meal; volunteers are needed to help set-up, serve and clean up. Dining Assistants work with the Dining Coordinator to create a welcoming community, encourage conversation, update route sheets and set up/serve and clean up after lunchtime meals. Assistants are trained to comply with safe food handling practices and procedures as well as local fire, health and sanitation codes. This is an opportunity to meet a lot of great people.

Shine Health Benefits Counselor

If you are a good problem solver, have good analytical skills and want to exercise your brain to stay young, you would make a good SHINE Counselor. Can you spare a few lunch-time hours, two times a month or more? If so, you can deliver nutritious lunches to local homebound seniors in our service area.
