Build Site Volunteer.

Currently Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell is renovating a 3 bedroom home at 11 Alpine St, No. Billerica MA. This house is being taken down to the studs and then will be rebuilt to make it an affordable, energy efficient home for Delilah and her three children. Volunteers are needed Tue-Sat 8am - 3pm.

Critical Home Repair Volunteer.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell’s Critical Home Repair program offers assistance to qualified seniors, veterans and families to help alleviate health, safety and code violations. This program is part of an ongoing effort to meet Habitat’s mission that everyone should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety. As with all Habitat for Humanity programs, this offers “a hand-up, not a hand-out”. Volunteer dates and location varies

About us Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell works to strengthen families and communities through affordable homeownership opportunities by building and renovating decent, healthy, energy efficient, affordable homes for low income people (30 – 60% AMI) in need. Since 1991, we have changed the communities around us, building or renovating 48 homes in Bedford, Billerica, Concord, Lowell, Reading, Tewksbury and Westford. Our three largest completed projects were a 3-duplex neighborhood in Lowell, an 8 single family home in Bedford and 12 homes in Lowell. We are working to complete our 49th house in Billerica and we will complete houses 50 and 51 in Concord.
