Our mission	With care and compassion, Ruth’s House, Inc. provides clothing and employment training opportunities to individuals and families in need throughout the Greater Merrimack Valley.

Opportunities	Grant Volunteer We are always in need of skilled volunteers to assist as grant researchers and writers. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Thrift Store Volunteer Assist with hanging and organizing clothing, working in our domestics/homegoods department, or by sorting toys, books, and more. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends IT/Data Entry Volunteer Help out in our office by assisting with IT or data entry. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work On-site, Skilled Weekdays Fix-it Volunteer We always have small appliances that need testing and other jobs for people with tools and know-how! One-time, Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor, Outdoor Skilled Weekdays, Weekends

How you help	Volunteers are the face of our organization and we couldn’t do what we do without them.

About us	Ruth’s House has been a staple in the city of Haverhill, MA since the organization was founded in 1992. Helping those in need in our community is the heart of our organization. In one month alone Ruth’s House supplies over 2,000 articles of clothing to individuals and families in need. We also provide referred individuals with the opportunity to develop the skills needed to re-enter the workforce by training them in our Thrift Shop.
