Head Start VolunteersHead Start/Early Head Start is a Federal program for preschool children, ages 0-5, from low-income families. Current and prior Head Start parents and members of the community are welcome. We need volunteers on an ongoing basis to assist with child activities, classroom duties, light office duties, etc. Head Start has locations in Haverhill and Newburyport. |

| How you help | Head Start is always seeking volunteers to assist with various activities and responsibilities. Your gift to Community Action will stabilize families and support early childhood education, daycare, kindergarten readiness, housing and heating assistance, nutrition and health programming, adult basic education and workforce development. |
