Our mission	Our mission is to care for all people, providing not only traditional medical care, but also programs and services that wrap around that care to enhance overall health.

Opportunities	Entertainment Cart Volunteer Bring reading material, crosswords, coloring, etc. to waiting rooms. Occasional Teens, Adults Individuals Physical, Indoor None Weekdays Pediatrics Patient Greeter Welcome patients and visitors to an extensive pediatric clinic. Must be able to take initiative in helping patients and families as well as interact with staff to assess various needs. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor None Weekdays, Weekends Food Pantry Volunteer Assist with the inventory, picking up and stocking food and assisting patients with shopping in the food pantry. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Physical, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings BMC Ambassador Welcome patients and visitors, escort patient and visitors to appointments throughout the medical campus. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Physical, Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays Career Coaching Café Volunteer Assist patients with building resumes and connecting to community resources. One-time, Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Virtual, Office work None Weekdays Outpatient Volunteer Provide a warm, cheerful welcome to all patients entering and departing the clinic and help to research illnesses, diseases and appropriate resources for families. (Must be at least 16 years old and have previous experience with children.) Occasional Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends

How you help	The Volunteer Services Department at BMC is dedicated to helping BMC fulfill its mission of providing consistently excellent and accessible health services to all in need of care, regardless of status or ability to pay. Our volunteers continue to grow and support staff, patients and families.
