About usOriginating in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Blackstone River winds its way into the Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. The main river has a total length of 48 miles, encompassing a drainage area of over 500 square miles. The Blackstone River is the second largest freshwater tributary entering into the Narragansett Bay. The Blackstone River is an important attraction to our community. A cleaner river leads to more recreational opportunities and improved habitats for local wildlife. Please do your part and help us keep our rivers clean!
