Ways to help | SupportWe're farmers and people who support farmers, not therapists, so take this advice with a grain of salt. Most of us are feeling or have felt some level of stress in this time of COVID-19. Taking action beyond ourselves, helping, not only benefits others, it pulls us out of our heads and away from our worry. Giving in small ways helps us make the world around us just a little better. Here are some suggestions for how you can help others - and yourself - today, National Stress Awareness Day. _____ ππ±Call your neighbor and ask if she needs anything from the grocery store because you're going. ππ±Check with The People's Pantry GB to see if they need volunteers (we're pretty sure they do). ππ±Check our Shop Local Now page to find the farmers near you offering food directly to customers and go buy some local meat, eggs, veggies, maple syrup, and lots more.Β https://berkshiregrown.org/shop-local-now/ ππ±Order take out from one of our local restaurants. Find lists with @1berkshire @southernberkshirechamber and Eat Berkshires:Β https://eatberkshires.com/ |
