Ways to help

Project Mentors

Project mentors work directly with participants to guide them through carrying out their projects from start to finish. They coordinate with schools, after-school programs, services sites, and families to meet and work with participants on their projects. The goal is to provide a fun, relaxed environment that keeps the participants excited and in the leadership role. Mentors must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and background/CORI/SORI checks.

Shoppers select items that best suit the overall vision of the participants, make thoughtful decisions about when to prioritize cost and quality, request discounts ahead of time, and print coupons. Shoppers must be 17+ and have a valid driver's license.

How you helpFrom mentoring, community support, shoppers, to administrative help, volunteers are an essential part of our team and are critical to helping further our mission!
About usAaron’s Presents is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization giving young kids an opportunity to dream up and carry out a project that benefits others, gaining valuable leadership and project management skills in the process. We believe that by enabling kids to experience firsthand what it feels like to impact others’ lives for good, and by making it as memorable, meaningful and fun as possible, we can cement traits like empathy, generosity and a sense of purpose from an early age. These traits are being shown by more and more research to lead to all kinds of successful and positive life outcomes.
