Closures Due to COVID-19

Governor Baker announced that early education and care programs (center based and family child care) will remain closed until Monday, June 29. This does not apply to the emergency care sites currently in operation. As the Commonwealth grapples with the peak of COVID-19 impact, this decision was made to prioritize the health and safety of residents, families and educators while allowing EEC to work with stakeholders, providers and businesses to plan for a safe and thoughtful strategy for reopening. EEC will continue to pay for subsidies, including parent fees, for our families enrolled in subsidized child care. Parents who receive subsidies will not lose their vouchers.
