Annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale

The Arlington Boys & Girls Club’s largest fundraiser is the annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale.  Beginning the Saturday after Thanksgiving and running until trees sell out, usually during the 2nd to 3rd weekend of December, the Club runs a Christmas tree lot at our facility.  We sell many hundreds of trees every day during the sale.  Monday through Thursday, 3-8pm and Friday-Sunday, 9am-8pm.  Each of the shifts is manned by a combination of staff, volunteers and ABGC Board Members.  The success of this fundraiser lies in our volunteers.  Responsibilities include helping patrons select a tree or wreath, keeping the lot stocked and clean and, if possible, helping the patrons secure the tree to their vehicle.  We encourage groups to sign up for shifts as it adds to the conviviality of the experience.  A sign-up genius will be available in early November.

Share A Skill

GET INVOLVED!
Would you like to share a skill, a talent or a service with the Club or with the Kids? We could use muralists, knitters, photographers, carpenters, musicians, dancers, bakers, etc. to help with projects at the Club or to host a workshop to teach Kids about your craft.
For more information or to volunteer, please contact Assistant Director, Kevin Flood at 781-648-1617 or [email protected]. All volunteers are subject to a background check.

How you help

The ABGC provides services at reasonable rates with scholarships for eligible families.  We offer a summer volunteer program for teens called Career Launch where participants will gain firsthand experience working with children ages 5-12.  Throughout the academic year teens can also volunteer in our Club Kids program.
